I booked a premier class trip from Guildford to Dartmouth on 9th June for my elderly parents, which they enjoyed immensely. Boarding was well signed and staff were welcoming. The meals were superb and served by a tirelessly friendly catering team. A few wrinkles with the timetable (down to Network Rail and outside the control of the tour company) didn't dent the splendour of the day. Thank you for this very special experience!
We traveĺled on the Cumbria mountain express on the 14th July. The whole experience was great all the staff were helpful and we would certainly book again.
London Rd, King's Lynn PE30 1PE, UK
I love the walks, it is the heart of the town with so much history in one place with the walkway and red mount and has been developed to include a cafe, children's play area, parkour practice area, the bandstand and regular events are hosted here. It's very picturesque with a little moat flowing around, a flowing fountain, ducks to feed and hundreds or trees beside the public walk path and doted around. Great for outdoor games and sports with the basketball courts as well.
A lovely place to walk and have a picnic or just some fish and chips from the great chip shop near the railway crossing dead opposite the walks also a great place to take the children it offers a play area for various ages.
60 South St, King's Lynn PE30 5ER, UK
I love that history has been preserved in the centre of town. It is open on certain days for you to go inside and view. It's not very big so won't take long but there is so much history to learn about on the sign boards and to discover inside when it is open. Very pretty and fits in nicely at the walks with the old walk through from the original wall that used to encompass the town
Wonderful little historical building. Almost impossible to find anything free to do or go with children now days but this is free to go in and look round. Great to photograph or draw/paint for any type of artist. Lovely people who volunteer.
